NILRC Photo Contest
Since Fall 2022, The Website and Communications Committee hosts photo contests to highlight the collections and people of NILRC. The aim is to foster the camaraderie of membership through active participation in NILRC Listservs and through affiliated online communities.
The Fall 2026 contest theme is… Snack and Sip in the Library.
Does your library offer food or drink in the library? At outreach events? During finals week? Do you have a coffee station or bowl of treats? Share your best picture or a collage of pictures to share how your library has patrons snacking and sipping.
Members submit contact information and photo from September 14 through October 23.
The current photo contest submission period is OPEN.
Members vote on their favorite photos November 2 through November 20.
The current photo contest voting period is CLOSED.
The winner(s) will be announced in early December.
Submission requires users to log in to the form to upload a photo for security purposes. If you would like to submit via alternate method, please contact webmaster@nilrc.org.
The first-place winner of the photo contest will be awarded the coveted NILRC Rock. The NILRC rock serves as a traveling trophy. This means that the NILRC rock will journey to the institution that triumphs in the photo contest for the current semester.
Thanks to all who have participated in past contests!
And the Spring 2026 winner is… WVC’s Cozy Corner, IECC Wabash Valley College!
The NILRC traveling rock trophy.
If you have any questions or concerns, please email the NILRC Website & Communications Committee Chairperson at webmaster@nilrc.org.
