NILRC Photo Contest
Since Fall 2022, The Website and Communications Committee hosts photo contests to highlight the collections and people of NILRC. The aim is to foster the camaraderie of membership through active participation in NILRC Listservs and through affiliated online communities.
Spring 2024 contest theme is…Libraries Beyond Books!
What is a library beyond books? Expand our knowledge with photos of events, puzzles, food, technology, spaces, collages, and anything else that shows the innovative spirit of your library. Get creative and showcase all that today's libraries have to offer!
Members submit contact information and photo from January 15 through March 15.
The current photo contest submission period is CLOSED.
Members vote on their favorite photos March 18 through March 31.
The current photo contest voting period is CLOSED.
The winner(s) will be announced in April.
The first-place winner of the photo contest will be awarded the coveted NILRC Rock. The NILRC rock serves as a traveling trophy. This means that the NILRC rock will journey to the institution that triumphs in the photo contest for the current semester. Second and third-place winners will receive NILRC stickers.
